Here’s a funny one from my “Mealtime Brown presents.. Parakeet Nelson” album. I wrote this one in the hotel room after seeing the Atlanta Hawks get killed by the Charlotte Hornets in a playoff game at the Georgia Dome (Phillips was being built). Hiro Noodles (aka Jeramy Lamanno) on drums! Thanks for listening!
Silly rap rock anyone? This one is also from my “Mealtime Brown presents..” album. I wrote this one while driving a moving truck to Jefferson, Georgia to move my stuff out and into the first house I bought in Athens. How that pertains to the song, I don’t know. Thanks for listening!
I guess I’m feeling a little slow and a little funky today. If you are judging by my song of the day.
This is consistently one of our favorite songs to play live. It’s a funky funny blues number. Thanks for listening!
I’ll continue my country funk one more day. This is from last year’s 365 songs and it’s a bit funky.
Back in the USA after a great week getting away to England. I saw a lot of great sights and walked about a hundred miles. Back to reality in Atlanta which includes be super psyched that the Mavs won the title!! Time to celebrate with some Country Funk from my “Risky Biscuits” album. This song features my good friend P-Noid on the mic. Thanks for listening!
This is a song that will eventually be on an album. This is just the demo version. Sometimes the demos end up having more feeling than the finals. Thanks for listening!
It’s crunch time for the Lakers today. I hope they can pull it out, I’m not ready to see Phil retire. One thing I know, is Kobe will come to play. This is the song I wrote last year when they were about to win the finals when Kobe wouldn’t let them lose. It’s also one of my favorite songs I’ve done (even though it’s very silly).
Only in Atlanta. I thought I’d take a chance and go to my neighborhood convenience store for some hot sauce. Not only did they have my favorite brand (Lousiana One Shot hot sauce) they also had at least 10 other brands of hot sauces in large and small sizes! As I said before, only in Atlanta!
Friends are coming from out of town to see Mike Watt in concert tonight and Mike Gordon in concert tomorrow night. Needless to say, I’m gonna have to take it one beer at a time.
