Feb 24 “Epithet”

Another brutal day (psychically) recycling today.  The economy must be getting better because people seem to be  throwing a lot more stuff away.   And on the positive side for our business the price of recyclables has gone up.

Cardboard went up a dollar (4.5 cents a pound) and newspaper went up fifty cents (3 cents a pound) which makes a world of difference when you’re picking up four or five thousand pounds worth of stuff  a day.

Although we have to pay to dump plastic and glass.

Anyway, something got me thinking of a character when I sat down tonight.  He is an old man nearing the end of his life and not able to do much but sleep and sit around trying to remember things about his life.

That’s the just of “Epithet”.  Thanks for listening!!
