February seems to be a month where I’m contemplating existentialist views with my songs. Maybe it was the Buddha biography I listened to earlier in the month or maybe it’s just my neo-psychological chatter.
I do use songs as a forum for positivity even though I do play characters in songs that sometimes aren’t so pleasant. My main goal is to be positive however. Although I don’t like to limit myself when creating story situations in my songs. The message is usually positive even if all the words aren’t. I’m pretty tongue in cheek if you haven’t noticed yet.
Anyway, “No Such Thing as Luck” is a love song. It contemplates past life situations and how you sometimes seem to have known some people for several lifetimes. Especially when it comes to deep connected love affairs.
