Breathing Means Dreaming – Song #3

The third song from “My Old Soul” has the classic four on the floor kick drum beat that makes booty shaking a must.  Add in some synths, guitars, strings and lyrics questioning life’s struggles and how to sift through them and you’ve got a jam.

“I’ll always be dreaming, if I’m breathing I’m dreaming and one won’t stop before the other”.  Thanks for listening!

June 29 “Back to Reality”

I guess I’m still in aftershock from our short vacation.   Or it could be the mass amount of work, driving, writing, everything but sleeping since then.   C’est la vie.    That’s how stuff gets done.    And I’m getting it done for the most part.     Although, I’ve not been in Asheville at all this week which means I’m having to catch up on the recording.   I’ve actually been a head a day or two on the song writing.   Just behind on the recording.   But at least I’ve sorted about 6,000 pounds of recycling this week.

May 5 “Frog Dreams”

It’s starting to get hot now.   In the eighties.  The recycling boat is starting to steam.  It’s funny how many blogs I’ve done this year mention the weather.   I guess that’s the common factor between me and every reader wherever they are.   I probably also subconsciously want to look back at these in a few years and something like that might interest me.

“Frog Dreams” is a little thought experiment turned to song.   Yet another song that seems to be about something that’s arguably not about anything.   Thanks for listening anyway!
